Julie Felix will be a name familiar to folk fans of a certain age. When I was getting into music in the 60s she was on the TV regularly – in fact she had her own series of shows, and was on the bill at the Isle of Wight Festival when Dylan made his comeback appearance after a 5 year break way back in 1969.
Along with Dylan, Donovan and The Spinners, Julie was a big early influence on me so I’m excited to be in concert with her in Saltburn on Sunday June 4th.
